Organisers hope a midnight walk will raise quarter of a million pounds.
Florence Nightingale Hospice are launching this summer’s Gemstone Midnight Walk today (March 16) in Aylesbury Market Square.
The first 50 women to sign up will receive a free pair of pink bunny ears – a fun fashion accessory for the event.
Aylesbury born actress Lynda Bellingham is lending her support to the event once again and said: “The Florence Nightingale Gemstone Midnight Walk is an event very close to my heart. This year, I am encouraging ladies from across Aylesbury Vale to get behind the local hospice and help reach the £250,000 grand total target.”
This is the fourth year for the charity’s biggest fund raising event of the year.
It will take place on Saturday July 13, with money raised going to aid the hospice’s in-patient and at-home services for families affected by life limiting illness.
