Pupils from Oakley School celebrated Easter with a traditional church service.
Children attended St Mary’s Church in the village and led the service there in front of parents and the wider community.
School administrator Iola Seaton-Reid said: “We go to church three times a year – Harvest Festival, Christmas and Easter – and we invite all the parents and community along.
“The Class Three children led the service and created all the artwork around the church and the whole school sang songs.
“We do other things to celebrate Easter but we are a church school and it is important learn the real meaning of Easter.
“It’s a happy story in the end and the children enjoy it.”
