A major family history event takes place in Aylesbury on Saturday, July 27.
The Buckinghamshire Family History Society’s Open Day, being held at The Grange School, Wendover Way, brings local societies, archives and museums together with researchers.
Exhibitors include the John Hampden Society, the Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies and Wycombe High School Centre for the History of Girls State Education.
A research area will provide access to parish register transcripts and a wide range of reference material, including a searchable database of Buckinghamshire names containing over five million entries.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to buy the latest family history related software, maps, books and more from a wide range of suppliers.
Buckinghamshire Family History Society’s Open Day takes place between 10am and 4pm.
Entry is free and there is free parking at the venue.
