Emergency services were called after a vehicle was involved in a crash in Aylesbury.
The incident happened in Wendover Road, near the junction with Camborne Avenue, at 7.45pm on Monday.
One person required treatment from paramedics.
There were reports someone had been hit by a vehicle, but police said they had no information about this.
Police spent three hours at the scene investigating the accident and helping manage traffic while the vehicle was recovered.
