Court round-up: Drink-drivers banned from roads

Two drivers who were caught over the limit are featured in this week’s round-up.

RICHARD BENSON, 32, of Belgrave Road, Aylesbury. 1) On February 15 drove a Honda Civic in Grafton Road, Aylesbury, after consuming 57 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit is 35mgs). Pleaded guilty. 2) Same date/ location drove without a licence. Pleaded guilty. Disqualified from driving for 15 months, fined £266, costs £85.

ROY HAYERS, 67, of Aston Clinton Road, Weston Turville. On February 11 in Limes Avenue, Aylesbury, drove a silver Suzuki Vitara after consuming 63 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of breath (legal limit is 35mgs). Pleaded guilty. Disqualified from driving for 17 months, fined £200, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

STEPHEN MILES, 50, of Coltman Avenue, Long Crendon. On October 10 in Dinton assaulted a male. Pleaded guilty. Awaiting sentence.

LEE MICHAEL ALBERT THOMAS, 27, of Gorse Croft, Winslow. 1) On November 16 in Cambridge Place, Aylesbury, assulted a male. 2) Same date/ location used threatening words/ behaviour to cause alarm/ distress. Pleaded guilty. Awaiting sentence.
