A PLEA hearing for a man accused of beheading a restaurant manager with a cheese knife was postponed today (Monday) so he could be sent to Broadmoor Hospital for psychiatric tests.
Jonathan Limani was deemed unfit to enter a plea to the murder or manslaughter of 32-year-old Chris Varian who was killed at a £6 million pounds prestigious hotel and country golf club.
A judge was told how the 34-year-old had refused to speak to his leading defence QC, and had been suffering from hallucinations.
Limani, who refused to return from the cells for the second part of today’s hearing, was remanded in custody.
