THE heat and sunshine helped the Thame Show become one of the best yet as thousands of people enjoyed the outdoors.
An action-packed programme meant there was always things going on, both in the main arena and on the side stands.
Organiser Mike Howes said: “It was a really nice and sunny day and I hope everyone who came enjoyed themselves.
“The feedback we have had so far shows that everybody seemed to have a good time.”
Final attendance figures are still being calculated but Mike believes it was close to the 20,000 average that the show now expects to attract.
He said: “We are still counting up all the money so we don’t know exactly but I would say it looked like it was the same as normal.”
Unfortunately for Mike, he was too busy to see most of the show but he hoped his efforts paid off for all the visitors.
