The headteacher of a school which achieved its second athletics win in a month has expressed her ‘pride’ at the students’ efforts.
Thame’s St Joseph’s School’s nine to 11 year olds beat nine teams from other Thame schools this week. It follows the school’s seven to eight year olds triumphing in track and running events. The groups will now compete at county level.
Headteacher Claire Kerr said: “We are so proud of the children who worked as a great team, showing support and encouragement for their peers and are looking forward to competing with other schools from across the county.”
