CHINNOR couple Victoria Parsons and Lee McFarland have completed their first month travelling Asia and have already come up with a range of stories.
Professional story teller Miss Parsons, who was featured in The Thame Gazette in January, went out to travel Asia for inspiration and has not been disappointed so far.
In her first month she has visited a temple of rats, a traditional music evening and a camel festival.
When describing the rat temple, she said: “It is considered lucky if a rat runs over your feet here – there are 20,000 which call this temple their home.”
After spending time in Delhi, the couple have now jetted off to Thailand in search of more stories.
It is one of the only flights on their trip, as it has been planned to use as many cheaper forms of transport as possible.
The couple have already put some stories online - to view them, visit www.taletimeaudiostories.com
