PUPILS at Haddenham St Mary’s School went back in time this week to learn all about the Victorians.
The Year 2 youngsters, aged six and seven, learned about all aspects of the Victorians, experiencing a day in the life of both the poor and the fortunate on Wednesday Thursday.
From scrubbing the floors, sample sewing and ironing with Victorian kettles to eating a typical period lunch in brown paper, the pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Teacher Steve Dew said: They have loved the dressing up and it’s really brought the era to life for them.”
